CAN’T STOP LOOKING AT THESE. 

When Lily told me she wanted to do a rooftop engagement session I immediately texted the #rosieteam saying “I GET TO DO A ROOFTOP ENGAGEMENT SESSION!”. And, obviously, Ryan + Lily’s session did NOT disappoint.

It is truly an honor to photograph your friends wedding. I’ve known Lily for over 5 years (HOW HAS IT BEEN THIS LONG!?) and when she reached out about wedding photography I’m pretty sure I screamed with excitement 🙊 Lily and I were camp counselors together at  Miracle Mountain Ranch and it was the best summer EVER. So many memories together and now we’re about to both be married. I love seeing friends step into different seasons of life and the fact I get to document so many friends in so many different seasons, is such a joy.

Ryan + Lily – You guys make an incredible couple. Your love for God, passion to serve him, and love for each other inspire me and inspire everyone around you. You guys are going to be world changers and I’m SO excited for you. 💞

SOMEONE PINCH ME. ARE THESE TWO EVEN REAL!?

Meghan’s vision for her winter wonderland engagement session came true and I am HERE FOR IT. Not going to lie, Thursday night I was laying in bed, looking at the weather for Friday, and I was a littllllle concerned with rain on the radar. But, when we showed up – the sun showed up – and this is definitely the dreamiest winter engagement session I have EVER SEEN. 😭 I wanted to share every dang picture, but I managed to pick out just a few of my favorites 😉

I can’t even wait for their summer wedding at Bear Ridge! ✨ Foreverrrr thankful Jonathan and Meghan are a #rosiecouple 😭💞

I don’t blog every engagement session, but as I sat here looking at these images tonight, I just knew they needed a permanent place on the blog ✨ The sun literally peaked out at the perfect time and made this winter session just pop.  These two are the definition of a #rosiecouple. When I look at these images, my heart just kind of bursts a little bit because I can’t even fathom how much I love all of our people 😭

EEEEK! This is what happens when you wake up at 6am on a Saturday morning – you write an unexpected blog post. 😅🤷‍♀️

We have so many engagement sessions to catch up on blogging but since I just delivered this one last night I thought it would be fitting to share today!

During this engagement session we literally hit ALL of “the hours”! Daylight, pre-golden hour, golden-hour, blue hour, and basically dark 🤣

I’ve said it a thousand times – but the words we often use to describe our #rosiecouples are fun, kind-hearted, and joyful. Noah and Marlea check all of these boxes and more! 😭

We can’t wait to celebrate with them at The Harper Event Venue next May!

We checked the weather every hour, hoping for the thunderstorms to hold off for Peter & Leana’s engagement session. We made the decision 10 minutes before leaving that we were just going to go for it! Not only did the rain hold off, the upcoming storm provided some very unique lighting! We still can’t get over these DREAMY photos from this engagement session at Kinzua Dam. As I was editing and writing this blog post, I am reminded of how truly blessed we are to work with the best couples, document the sweetest love stories, and be a part of such an amazing community.

Peter & Leana will be having an elegant evening wedding at the Iriqouis Club in Conneaut Lake with their closest friends and family. We love smaller weddings and we can’t wait to be a part of their special day.

It is so easy to see their radiant, compassionate love for one another even by spending just an hour with them. And when you have unique (slightly stormy) lighting, white flowy dresses, and the sweetest souls – only dreamy photos can come out of that!

I loved documenting this dreamy engagement session at Milton Hershey Campus! I feel SO fortunate to have Alex and Alex as a #rosiecouple! 

Words we often use to describe #rosiecouples would be: fun, kind-hearted and organized. We value the relationship with our couples. We’ve said it a thousand times before, and we’ll say it again – we don’t want to be strangers on your wedding day! We want to give you the BEST experience ever and it’s hard to do that if we’re not friends! When I am talking with a potential couple, I am looking for some kind of connection, to see if we would be a good fit. 

As I was having the initial phone call with Alex & Alex, I just KNEW we were meant to be!  I could tell that they CLEARLY checked all of the boxes (and more). THEN when we met in person, I just really couldn’t believe how perfectly matched we were! I am SO thankful for the opportunity to be their photographer! ✨ 

I could probably talk about them for hours, but instead I’ll let you just take in all the cuteness from their engagement pictures!

Micah and Anjewl’s winter engagement session is HERE! Eeeek!! This stupidly cute (and cold) session might be the longest blog to date! 🤪  We’ve known both Anjewl and Micah for a long time, and it is a true honor to document their love story! We can’t wait to celebrate with them in May! 

Josh and Emily’s engagement session is HERE! We slightly felt like we were in a snow globe during this session at Hartwood Acres! Emily had been dreaming of the perfect snowy pictures, and I think her dreams came true! Not even half way into the session, huge fluffy flakes started pouring down!

If you ever the opportunity to spend time with these two together (sorry to all those who will never get to experience this!) you’ll see just why these two make the perfect pair! While they have a variety of differences, the similarities are what really bonds them together. They both adore worshipping the Lord together and are really committed to serving Him in all things. They love to go on drives together to a nearby city, grab food, and have deep discussions about life. 

Josh adores Emily’s compassionate personality. She truly cares and sacrifices for those around her. Emily is Josh’s biggest cheerleader in whatever he’s doing whether it’s preaching, hosting events, or anything! She is there to encourage him in every way! There is an endless list of things Emily loves about Josh: his heart for serving, his work ethic, and of course, his sense of humor. We just love these two and we know you will too! ✨

Jordan and Brittany met in high school during their creative writing class and immediately hit it off. They share so much in common and are such a dynamic team. I just wish everyone could meet them, because their love for each other would truly inspire you!

Cody can’t get enough of his sweet, patient Naomi. She inspires him by her desire to be the best she can be in every area of her life. From homework, jobs, wedding planning, and all the relationships in her life.
